TNL is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders by providing financial support to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to giving back to their communities. TNL’s Scholarship Program is approved by the TNL Board of Directors and is funded through profits from TNL’s operations. TNL’s Scholarship Awards
TNL offers scholarships to TNL shareholders who are pursuing higher education and career focused vocational education. TNL offers scholarships once a year which are issued prior to the fall academic year. The application will open in early December, the deadline will be the first Friday in April.
New Scholarship Application and Process
TNL is excited to announce the launch of our enhanced Shareholder Scholarship Program! We are proud to partner with the Bristol Bay Foundation (BBF) to bring this opportunity to our shareholders. Through this collaboration, TNL shareholders can now apply for both the BBNC and TNL scholarships using a single, streamlined application process by visiting mybbnc.net where you will be re-directed to the application portal in Survey Monkey Apply This partnership ensures greater access to educational funding and benefits to help our shareholders achieve their academic and career aspirations.

Instructions on How to Apply
The new COMBINED application is available to BBNC shareholders and descendants and TNL shareholders by visiting myBBNC.net
To Apply
If you are a TNL shareholder and are ready to pursue your higher education and vocational goals, we encourage you to review and follow the instructions depending on the program you wish to pursue:
Higher Education Scholarships (HE):
For traditional college programs, such as Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees at universities.
Follow these steps to apply:
Go to mybbnc.net
Log in to your account. If you don’t have one, register by clicking “REGISTER” and follow the instructions.
Click the BENEFITS dropdown menu and select Bristol Bay Foundation.
Select the Higher Education Program Application Portal button.
Click on “Programs” to select HE or CFVE.
Complete your application by the first Friday in April.
Career Focused Vocational Education (CFVE):
For non-university training programs through technical schools and training, such as welding, piloting, beauty school, electrical, cosmetology, etc. (6 months or longer but less than 2 years).
Follow these steps to apply:
Go to mybbnc.net
Log in to your account. If you don’t have one, register by clicking “REGISTER” and follow the instructions.
Click the BENEFITS dropdown menu and select Bristol Bay Foundation.
Select the Career Focused Vocational Education Scholarship Program Application Portal button.
CFVE has three deadlines a year (typically in April, July, and December). Follow us on Social Media for exact dates and announcements.
To Apply for Ikayurgna Emergency Aid:
Through TNL’s partnership with BBF, TNL Shareholders are eligible to participate in BBF’s program for emergency aid available to currently enrolled scholarship recipients. The program aims to assist students with pressing needs that might hinder a student’s ability to continue in their intended program. Funding is limited but is available once per calendar year to all current scholarship recipients.
Follow these steps to apply:
Sign in to your myBBNC account at myBBNC.net (do not enter “www”). If you don’t have an account, register by clicking “REGISTER” and follow the instructions.
Click the BENEFITS dropdown menu and select Bristol Bay Foundation.
Select either the Higher Education or Career Focused Vocational Education Scholarship Program Application Portal buttons.
Top Right you select PROGRAMS.
Click Start Application for the Ikayurnga Emergency Aid Program.
